At the options menu, set the difficulty to AMATEUR and trophy presenter to MALE. Now go to exit and press X to go to main screen again. Then press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left. Next press Left then X to get back to Options screen. Place difficulty to PROFESSIONAL and the trophy presenter to RIDERS CHOICE. Now move to Exit Option and press X to go back to main title screen, and then press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right. You should hear a cash register sound (ka-ching). Enable codes- Go to options and set difficulty to PROFESSIONAL and the lap per race to 6. Press start after you're done and at the title screen, press Circle,  Circle, Circle, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Square, Triangle. You'll hear a sound and see a caption that says "code enabled"
